Senior executives from Meta Platforms, Inc. (META.US), Anthropic, OpenAI and Google have been invited to meet with White House officials on Tuesday (4th) local time to discuss voluntary government safety testing for the most advanced AI models in the US, Reuters, citing sources, reported.

Anthropic and OpenAI recently disclosed respectively that their AI tools had infiltrated other companies' systems, raising concerns among US lawmakers that AI models could be used to launch or assist cyberattacks.

The US government has finalized details of voluntary cybersecurity testing to assess the hacking capabilities of the most advanced US AI models, with plans to discuss the matter with the AI industry, according to White House officials.
